Boyne’s Fruit flavoured sugar ‘mice’. Sugar mice are a traditional sweet popular in the United Kingdom, especially during the Christmas season. They traditionally consist of a boiled fondant formed from sugar and water. When sugar was a luxury, one was left in a child’s stocking with fruit, nuts, and small toys to make up the entirety of their Christmas haul.
Sugar mice were a type of sweet in the wizarding world of Harry Potter that were shaped like mice that squeaked and moved.
Be sure to remove the cotton ‘tail’ before consuming. Mice do not move.
